Antwan Joseph enters his first year as Assistant Director within Student-Athlete Support Services. In his role, he will serve as academic coordinator to MSU’s football and tennis programs.

Prior to joining Michigan State, Joseph spent 4 years at the University of San Diego as an assistant director, serving as academic counselor for men’s & women’s basketball. Additionally, oversight of academic services as well as several student-athlete development programs for USD athletics; worked as assistant director of student-athlete services at Central Michigan University overseeing multiple Olympic sports; served as academic coordinator to the men’s basketball program for the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) .

A native of Grand Rapids, Joseph earned a bachelor’s degree in sales & business marketing from Western Michigan University where he was a letterwinner for the men’s basketball team. He later went on to earn a master’s of education degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
