Teddy Bear Toss

For the third year, Spartan student-athletes volunteered and assisted with the annual Teddy Bear Toss at the MSU Hockey game. Fans brought their own teddy bears and toys to the game to be donated to children at Sparrow Hospital. When MSU scored their first goal during the first period, play was halted and teddy bears and toys were thrown onto the ice from fans as 23 student-athletes from 8 of the varsity teams went to collect them. 246 toys in total were donated and collected for the children.
