On the last Sunday before the first day of classes of the Fall Semester, the parents and guardians of our incoming freshman student-athletes are invited to partake in the Student-Athlete Parent Orientation. The Student-Athlete Parent Orientation identifies a parent/guardian’s role and provides insight into the transition their son or daughter faces when making the leap from high school to college.  The program introduces parents to Athletic Department services, the student-athlete experience and defines what it means to be a member of the Spartan Family. This a free event designed to provide an engaging and welcoming feeling to our new addition to the Spartan family.
