SASS focuses on three areas of outreach opportunities: student-athlete/team project developed initiatives, SASS project developed initiatives, and community project developed initiatives. Areas of focus when determining outreach events include educational opportunities, local hospitals, and events that help the MSU community. In addition to providing outreach opportunities, Student-Athlete Development focuses on assisting student-athletes with outreach needs for classes, outreach placement for internships, and continuous upkeep of the outreach database for accurate reporting for student-athletes and university officials.
